Biographie de l'auteur

Michel Bras est né en Aveyron, en 1946. Il s'initie à l'univers de la gastronomie dès son plus jeune âge auprès de sa mère. Michel Bras exerce son art et vit depuis 1992 à Laguiole, au sommet du "Puech du Suquet" : un univers fait de lumière, de pierre, de végétal en prise directe avec les pâtures du plateau de l'Aubrac. Cuisinier quatre toques avec 19,5/20 depuis 1986 dans le Gault-Millau, Michel Bras se voit accorder la reconnaissance suprême par le guide Michelin en 1999 : les trois étoiles. Aux Éditions du Rouergue, Michel Bras a publié entre autres Le Livre de Michel Bras en 1991. Couronné par un  grand succès, suivi en 2002 par le magnifique ouvrage Bras. Laguiole, Aubrac, France, traduit dans plusieurs langues et sans cesse réimprimé.
