Léon Jouhaux (1879-1954) war ein französischer Gewerkschaftsaktivist, der seit 1909 als Generalsekretär der anarchosyndikalistischen Gewerkschaftsföderation Confédération Générale du Travail (CGT) fungierte. Im Jahre 1943 von der deutscher Besatzung inhaftiert, wurde er später in das KZ Buchenwald deportiert, das er überlebte. 1951 erhielt er den Friedensnobelpreis für seine herausragende Rolle innerhalb der gewerkschaftlichen Friedensbewegung und seinen jahrzehntelangen Kampf für die Rechte der Arbeiterschaft.
