Through his studio windows and from the roof of his home, Willink watched the clouds for inspiration.

Belangrijkste schilder van het magisch realisme.In de brief refereert hij aan de brief van de heer De Vries van 14 mei 1963. Er is voor de televisie uitzending hoofdzakelijk gebruik gemaakt van foto's naar m'n werk. De biografie die in 1941 verscheen, is reeds lang uitverkocht. De uitgevers zien in een nieuwe uitgave geen brood, hoewel ik ontelbare malen ook andere op een gelijk gestelde vraag heb moeten teleurstellen. Wat de verkoop betreft. Sedert mijn kunsthandelaar Huinck & Scherjon te Amsterdam opgehouden heeft te bestaan, ben ik mijn eigen kunsthandelaar.
