You can see the light purple covers in the photos. They are exceptionally clean. The white lettering on the spine is nicely bright. The spine ends have only a tiny bit of crinkling. The cover edges and corners are in very good shape. The top page edge is black. There are a few very small tan stains on the middle page edge. They just peek over the middle edge of six to eight pages. The book is very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The inside covers and end papers are black. They are all in very good condition. The pages are in very good condition. They are very clean. There are several different types of paper. I'm not seeing any creasing. There are no markings in the book. No attachments of any kind. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere. There is a very slight musty aroma. There are a tremendous number of illustrations in a number of mediums and from different cultures. The illustrations are in both color and black-and-white. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. There is an toning off the bottom edge of the front. There's a little wear at the spine ends and just adjacent. There is one little tear off the rear top edge. Anyway, you can see it all the first three photos. The flaps are in excellent shape, very clean, a little crinkling at the rear flap's top edge. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned.
