Vicaire II, 648. Édition originale rare de cette publication effectuée à partir d'un registre in-4 de 23 feuillets, mentionnant 98 titres (environ 600 volumes) qui devaient être conservés soit au Palais de Versailles soit au Trianon. La Reine, dont l'instruction avait été assez négligée à Vienne même, ne lisait guère, ceci dit . Entré à l'École des Chartes, Louis Lacour de La Pijardière (1832-1891) obtint son diplôme d'archiviste paléographe en 1854. Il fut pendant douze ans bibliothécaire à Sainte-Geneviève, puis il est nommé archiviste de l'Hérault en 1872.
