Relié, dos toilé, plats en carton fin, petits accrocs et petite étiquette d?inventaire au dernier plat, très bon état intérieur. Édition originale, 14 sérigraphies à voir et à écouter par la voix de Cathy Berberian. Carmi a composé les images à la demande de la cantatrice sur ses interprétations d?onomatopées de bandes dessinées, sous l?impulsion d?Umberto Eco. L?artiste témoigne : « Je me suis enfermé dans mon atelier de la Boccadasse et j'ai écouté des dizaines de fois sur la platine le chant de Cathy. C'est ainsi que j'ai réussi à donner naissance à 14 images en un mois dont toutes les onomatopées chantées étaient devenues lisibles." Une enveloppe au premier contre-plat contient le glossaire d?Umberto Eco attribuant une signification à chaque onomatopée (feuillet dépliant) et une au dernier contre-plat contient le disque vinyle 45 tours (l?enveloppe s?est fendue). Pas de mention de tirage, rare.
