Printed for Joanna Leary and filed at the California Court of Appeals while Dr. Timothy Leary was in jail in 1974 with a bail set at $5,000,000 implicating Leary in the drug trafficking conspiracy referred to as "The Brotherhood of Eternal Love." Prior to the trial the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs were heavily spying on Leary with several government agents informing on Leary's activity. This publication was used in the trial in Leary's defense with 8 pages of printed sources of information ranging from the efficacy of LSD in medical treatment to similar cases of drug use and trafficking, titled 'Table of Authorities,' pp. iii to x. Included as well, in Leary's defense, was the complete eradication of all medical research, government or private, on LSD. Appendices A-F which are the last 44 pages of the book are similar cases, interstate and international, 'Analytical Summary.' There are two tipped in, and folded, letter-sized bulletins from Joanna Leary, issued from the Starseed Information Center in SF, CA, the Leary futurist organization branched out from psychedelic investigations and improvised legal defense fund. One is stapled at the top left corner, the other is 2 loose pages, both have wear and chipping around the perimeter and some light soiling. Both documents provide amendments to printed book Terra I. and additional perspective on Leary's trial from his closest supporter. Also, a brief description of a Hawkwind benefit/tribute show to Dr. Leary and a preview of forthcoming title Terra II.A Way Out by Imprinting Press.
